I enjoyed the tale - totally readable. The gripping prologue introduces the reader to the main protagonist, Gavin Cutter, an artist who stops painting to watch an old sailing ship, bent on self-destruction, sail apparently rudderless, onto a nearby reef.
"The Limping Dog" is a mystery filled with great suspense right to the conclusion of the story. Artist Gavin Cutter lives peacefully in a small, old fashioned New England seaside town where he happily paints and also restores antiques for his lady friend, Maria.
